2026-02-01. Februarimaran.
An icy winter marathon, around lake Byttorp in Borås. Finished second in the senior age group, fourth among males and fifth in total.
First half in 1:42:30 and the second in 1:41:16, totalling 3:23:46. This was my 32nd marathon. Results here.

2026-03-14. Skövde 6-timmars.
The 21st edition of Skövde 6-timmars. My fifth start in 2026, first was in 2022.
Swedens oldest 6h ultra, started back in 2005. Only cancelled in 2021, due to Covid.
Got nauseated after 30 km, threw in the towel after 3:19 and 39 km. Here’s a short video from the start.
2026-03-21. Nora Marathon.
The 10th edition of Nora Marathon. A fun course. Four laps with a total vertical gain of roughly 520-540 meters.
Finished 10th with a new PB. First half in 1:41:14 and the second in 1:39:40, totalling 3:20:54. This was my 33rd marathon. Results here.

2026-03-28. Frontyard Grums.

2026-04-11. Kurt 300 Marathon.
Photo from the 2nd start at Knektavallen in Hultsfred, where Kurt Gustavsson celebrated his 80th birthday by running his 300th marathon.
This was my 35th marathon. First half in 1:38:32 and second in 1:37:17. Finished first with 3:15:49. Results.
There were two start groups. One at 09:00 and a second at 10:00. Here’s a short video from the 2nd start group.
2026-04-25. SM 100 km Växjö.
The 100 km Swedish Championship, at Växjö Ultrafest in 2026. Results.
DNF, was sick during the week but felt ok enough to start. Kept my schedule up to 45 km, then called it a day at 51 km.

2026-05-01. Västerås Marathon.
Better this week, finished 12th in 3:08:15. First half in 1:34:32, second in 1:33:43.
Kept a steady pace, split times were a bit off in the offical results.
2026-06-14. The Alpaca Race.
Five laps and 53 kilometers, with a vertical gain of 3250 m. Managed four laps rather ok.
But then my legs died on the fifth lap, which took me two hours and twentyone minutes!! Still finished fifth in 9:03:21.
2026-06-27. H2 Ultratrail.
H2 Ultratrail. Let’s see how +50km in +30°C goes.
It didn’t go well, DNF at 36 km due to heat exhaustion.
2026-07-01. District Championship 1-hour track.
District Championship, 1-hour track at Ryavallen, Borås.
56 participants in two heats. 18:00 and 19:30, I will be starting in the second heat.
Finished fourth with 15.401 km. A short video from the first and last two laps.
2026-07-04. Läckövarvet.
Läckövarvet, Kållandsö 21 km. New organizer and a new course, with more trail than before.
Finished in 1:40:07. First in U23 and younger, 20th among men and 22nd overall. Results here.
2026-07-17. Kraftprovet Trollhättan.
Ran Slussprovet again this year. It was hot. Finished eight among men and ninth in total, results here.
2026-07-25. Kil till Skutberget.
Kil till Skutberget 24 km. A trail run organized by André Rangelind. Further information here.

2026-08-01. Krokstrand Mountain Trail.
Bohusläns Högsta – Krokstrand Mountain Trail. 3.1 km with a vertical gain of 236 m.
86 participants, finished 17th with 18:10. Slow start, also managed to find the (probably) only deep mudhole on the entire mountain.

2026-08-15. Ultravasan 90.
Did my first UV90 in 2024. A Swedish trail ultra along the same route as Vasaloppet, roughly 92 km.
This year it’s also the long distance Swedish National Trail Running Championships.
One bad step on a stone and hurt my achilles tendon, tried for a while but decided to quit at Risberg.
2026-08-22. Mariestad Marathon.
My achilles tendon is ok, so I’ll give it a go at Mariestad Marathon on Saturday. My last time here was in 2022.
This time it’s the West Swedish Athletics District Championship (DM) in the half marathon.
Finished seventh in total, with 1:24:53, fourth in the District Championship and second among seniors.
